Over 23 years of makeup experience, with 17 of those specializing in airbrush cosmetics, Christina's expertise is unsurpassed. Touch of Color was started in California in 2001, relocated to Atlanta in 2007 and expanded to Houston in 2016.

What sets Touch of Color apart from the others?

Christina has specialized in airbrush makeup since 2001 and also wears it daily herself, so her knowledge is firsthand and has mastered her craft over 17 years.

How does airbrush makeup work?

Airbrush makeup is sprayed on through an airbrush compressor as a fine mist of color that gently covers the skin, giving the appearance of a flawless complexion. The makeup rests on the surface of the skin, rather than being rubbed in, so it looks more natural.

How is airbrush different from traditional makeup?

Regular foundation can look obvious, caked-on or not perfectly color matched, and will always feel like you're wearing makeup. While airbrush makeup leaves a light, seamless veil of color that we custom blend for a perfect match.

What are the benefits of airbrush makeup?

The airbrush product we use is oil and alcohol free, that is also water-resistant with 16-20 hours of beautiful wear.  So tears, sweat or humidity won't pose a cosmetic problem for an airbrushed face; just simply blot away any moisture without ruining your makeup.

Does airbrush makeup look natural?

Yes! Airbrush has been used for over 30 years in the movie and entertainment industry because of its versatility to create the right look on and off camera. Airbrush makeup is able to look natural in person, perfect on film and flawless in photos, while providing the right amount of coverage without all the layers.

How does airbrush cover imperfect skin?

Unlike traditional cosmetics that require you to blend it into the skin, which can exaggerate the issue you're trying to cover, airbrush makeup eliminates that problem by concealing imperfections on the surface. The effect is an even tone and smoother looking skin.

Policies

  • Contract: A signed Service Agreement (contract) is required to an book event.
  • Deposit: A 50% deposit is required in order to secure your date. The deposit is non-refundable or transferable.
  • Booked Time: The time booked will only reflect those services reserved on the Service Agreement. Each service requires a certain length of time to be completed, and an agreed upon start time will be contracted for the day-of-event.
  • Delays: There will be a $25 late fee per every 15 min added on to the bill balance when starting or staying after the contracted time due to client delays. This is not negotiable.
  • Contract Add-ons: The desire to add additional people or services to a signed Service Agreement does not guarantee it can be added if it conflicts with the schedule for that day. So when securing your date, please book services accordingly. We will try our best to accommodate your request(s). 
  • Cancellation: If the client must cancel a Service Agreement, or needs to change the contracted date, any money paid will not be refunded if we're unable to accommodate the date change. If Touch of Color were to cancel the contract (excluding Acts of Nature), 110% of the deposit money will be refunded by check within ten days.
  • Travel: Airfare, hotel, travel fee and transportation will be custom quoted.
  • Act of Nature: In the event of an act of nature that could prevent Touch of Color getting to the client or the client getting to Touch of Color, the deposit or any monies paid will not be refunded. Acts of nature could include, but not limited to: weather related; making travel impossible/unsafe, road closures/traffic, cancellation of flights or car accident.
  • Trials: All consultation trials are conducted week days only. If we're able to accommodate a weekend appointment for a special event, we will.
  • Service Location: All day-of-event services will be conducted at client's location of choice. Travel fees may apply where applicable and will be quoted.
  • Mileage Fee: There is no additional charge for service locations within 20-miles of The Heights (Houston), TX or Buckhead (Atlanta), GA. All other locations outside of this radius will incur a $1 per mile round trip fee.
  • Early Arrival: There is a $75 fee for early morning start times before 7:59am.
  • Payment: Deposits and balances can be paid by cash, credit card or check. A $30 fee will apply for returned unpaid checks. Final balance is due on day-of-event.
